Rich purchased High Growth CPA Services in October 2019 and is the sole owner. Rich has worked the gamut of professional accounting. His career started with a local CPA firm in Eugene, OR. After moving to Portland, OR, he worked for a regional firm headquartered in San Francisco. This firm was eventually merged into a large multi-national firm. Throughout his career in public accounting, he has worked in niche markets, specializing in capital formation, developing efficient and effective accounting systems, taxation and positioning clients for merger and acquisition transactions. 

Rich took the knowledge learned from the entrepreneurs he worked with and went into private business as a chief financial officer. He was involved in the start-up of a number of successful businesses in a variety of industries. He understands the challenges of starting a business and continuing its growth, particularly in highly regulated businesses. His career has provided the experience to assist clients in most of their accounting, tax and developmental needs.    Rich believes in a holistic approach to taxation, specifically for small business owners. His preference is to look at the business and the owner(s) as a single unit to achieve the best tax result. Sometimes, what is best for the business may not be the best for the individual and vice versa.
